who is Cher?
Kia Ora & 您好, I'm a Product Designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Currently at Catch Design (Bastion). Previously, I spent time at Basis, building apps from 0 → 1.
I design at the intersection of form, function, and systems. Focused on uncovering the true nature, purpose, and intention behind each problem. From there, I shape experiences with clarity, ensuring they feel considered and deliver meaningful impact for both people, the business and the greater good.
My process is grounded in curiosity and critical thinking while enjoying collaboration with others to gather context, challenge assumptions. I find that this brings diverse perspectives into the process. I care deeply about craft and aim for a level of quality that is considered and sustainable.

Offline, you’ll usually find me perfecting canelés, growing things in my backyard garden and experimenting in the kitchen with flavours picked straight from garden to table. Lately, I’ve also been learning the art of floral arrangement and finding joy in working more slowly and hands-on with nature.
